This page is for him.
The reason, the inspiration, the quiet fire behind everything I do—my father, Winston.
Winston wasn’t just my dad. He was a chef, a mentor, a Navy man, and the first person who taught me that food could be love, legacy, and livelihood all wrapped into one. He didn’t just feed people—he nurtured them. Watching him in the kitchen, hearing his advice, and soaking up every story from his days cooking in the Navy is a memory stitched into the very fabric of Winston & Pearl.
He always told me, “Do it with excellence, or don’t do it at all.”
And baby, I listened.
The name Winston & Pearl is more than branding—it’s a bond. It’s our shared love for culinary creativity and heart-in-every-bite cooking. I remember the day he tasted one of my sauces and said, “Now THIS needs to be in stores.” Next thing I know, he’s in the kitchen bottling it up, scribbling my name on the label like it was already on the shelf. That’s the kind of belief he had in me. That moment still fuels me.
I still carry his chef’s knife—a symbol of his precision, his pride, and now, my purpose. On the hard days, I hold it and remember: this journey started with love, and I’ll keep carrying that torch. Even though he’s not physically here, his presence is felt in every dish, every order, every sauce bottle I cap.
Winston & Pearl is not just a business. It’s a legacy.
His legacy. My legacy. Our legacy.
And trust me—I’m just getting started.
